At one time going into Iraq seemed like a good idea. Unfortunately it's caused us to totally lose focus. We'll be lucky now to get out of there and not have everything collapse within the next two months.

Alghieri advocates keeping our friends close and our enemies closer. I agree, but not in the naive way Jimmy Carter wants. It's time to pursue more dialogue with Iran, maybe even make them an offer they can't refuse.
