I agree, but not in the naive way Jimmy Carter wants. It's time to pursue more dialogue with Iran, maybe even make them an offer they can't refuse.

This is the only man to have been able to achieve a peace accord between Israel and an arab state. I don't know if talking to Hamas is wise, but given his unofficial capacity i don't think it does any harm either. I do believe that it underscores the frustration that there has been literally no effort on the part of the administration to foster any agreements between the sides.
