The region has been a battle field for centuries, more recently for oil. You are so confused. The turmoil in the ME isn't about oil. It isn't about our ships parked offshore or our bases in the region. It is about Muslims who are determined to eradicate all who don't believe what they believe. Everything else is secondary. These people don't care about oil or bases -- the thought process never gets that far. It is about religion, and the only good Christian, Jew, whatever, is a dead one -- in their eyes. Until you guys (the Left) realize what is causing the problem you have no shot at being part of a solution.
