Hi Vince: I would of thought our CEO would be in Los Gatos working on the marketing plan for the LA market. As you already know, this company is bleeding money. Eventhough Mr. Allen has stepped up to the plate to finance this company for the next year, Metricom still needs to get new subscribers. I sure hope that our CEO is not negoating new spectrum licenses agreements with the FCC as past experience resulted in over a $4 million dollar loss with his last purchase (remember Overall wireless?). You may be a shareholder or not but eventhough there has been good news regarding interum financing with VERY DEEP pockets....there is still a business to be run. From past results, the subscriber base is still very low (vs potential) and they still show $600 in expenses per new subscriber sign-up (very high for the industry) I do know that the company is working on this, as I have received calls from their sales group following up on an Internet response card I replied to. I am a subscriber to the service and it is excellent! Vince - I have visited the company and met many of the management team ...but not the janitor. The technology is great but business is business and they really need to take it up a notch and work on getting those new subscribers. By the way Vince....have you subscribed to the Ricochet service? It is very good....and you should try it! EKS
