Ah yes, POLLS. People love polls that support what they themselves think. So people who don't like America are motivated to find polls showing no one else likes America too.

Well, there have always been polls showing America is unpopular - for decades. Its a function of us being a superpower, particularly the only remaining superpower.

OTOH, there are those real elections in which politicians friendly to America defeat those less friendly. Hey, in France a candidate nicknamed "Le Americain" won the blooming election. Gee, I think that counts as much as a poll.

And the fact is the US is viewed favorably by many people in sub-Saharan Africa and India. For good practical reasons.
