It's funny to see all these Neocons trashing the Burmese junta for blocking international aid to its people. While they are 100% correct in their condemnation, their motivations are plainly malignant. They stand silent whenever Israel does the exact same thing to its people. Their commentary is reminiscent of Soviet complaints about the poor treatment of minorities in America during the Cold War. Correct, yes. But also hypocritical, self-serving, and globally destructive without proper balance.

Let's leave the foreign aid to the UN and other non-partisan institutions. There is no reason to include Neocons like France's Sarkozy and Kouchner in the discussion. France participated in the American overthrow of Haiti's democracy a few years ago. Now the Haitian people are literally eating dirt.
