Obama is now our nominee unless the rightwingers assassinate him the way they did the Kennedys and Martin Luther King. That is very good news. He will beat McCain because McCain does not have a single policy which helps anyone but the GOP status quo and their gouging corporate cronies.

Now it's suspenseful to see who Obama picks as a running mate. DOn't be surprised if he picks his own "Dick Cheney" (a good honest one though as opposed to a crook). Don't be surprised if he picks John Kerry. John Edwards would have a chance too if he had endorsed Obama. Bill Richardson and Jim Webb are other possibilities. He might even pick a woman though I'd rather see him pick a macho war veteran who can balance out McCain's only credential.
