You want to turn this into "my feelings" but that's the same "avoid thoughtful consideration and just accuse the messenger of hating America" dysfunction in which people like you inevitably retreat. What I feel is unimportant only in the sense that I want America to return to the respected good will nation it has been known A myth. There has always been anti-Americanism. Remember the '90's when UN bureaucrats and Aljazeera were telling the world America was killing 50K Iraqi babies a year? Was that the mythical time you refer to? How about during the VN war era? Not then either, was it? How about during the Reagan era, when mass demonstrations were held all over Europe over the missile defense of Europe? No, that wouldn't be your mythical golden age either. So when was your mythical golden age of good will to America? Not during the VN war era, not during the Reagan-Bush administrations, not during the 90's when we were killing 50K Iraqi babies a year - whats left, the Carter administration - "America held hostage"?
