elmatador, RE: Did we mention Brazilian ethanol gets no subsidies? That is incorrect. The Brazilian government has mandated a minimum of 20% ethanol in gasoline for three decades now. More direct subsidies ended in the 90s, but as far as I know, the minimum ethanol content requirement is still there.
