I just logged into Amazon.com to check on an order and find I am being offered six new books all on the oil price, peak oil, or oil crisis. I had bought 3-4 books already a year or three ago (Deffeyes, etc.). Usually the appearance of a plethora of books about an economic phenomenon is a warning that it does not have much farther to go. I still think we are headed for at least $5.00 gasoline and at least $160 crude, but would be willing to listen to reasons why it might take longer than I think it will.
