YES! There is no doubt that hedge funds, and institutions following hedge fund strategies, dominate today's markets. And it seems fundamental to me that hedging involves selling the less preferred stocks and buying the preferred ones. In metals that surely means selling the juniors and buying the seniors.

But every dog will have its day. Hedger's beware ! There is lots of suppressed value in the juniors !.
