I have written my criticisms of the Bush administration many times but lacking bashes and slander it falls on deaf ears around here. The topic could fill a library but few here are able to engage in dialogue at all let alone a discussion beyone one liner jabs.

Anyway here is a snow flake from the tip of the ice burg of things I can rant about. I am not happy about the break down in middle income mainstream American culture. I attribute this to many things, although only a few are directly tied to this Administration. We have failed to manage immigration in a reasonable and proactive way. Many of our operations in Iraq were poorly advised. Free trade is good but it seems we have sold out our industrial base unnecessarily and unbeneficially. The economy is in recession and it is has been the industrial base which historically fueled a recovery ... does not exist now. The service sector was historically a place for youth to develop work skills and ethics which would carry them later in corporate America. The service industry now employs illegal aliens while our youth sit home wondering which medicine will cure their morbid obesity and failure to maintain erections. Education of children is primarily a parenting issue, something that was forgotten or devalued starting about fifty years ago but which has gotten progressively worse and now we are seeing thirty year old people who have no parenting skills, don't want to be parents because it would interfere with what they can 'accomplish' <sarc> in life, and our legacy for the future is consequently disastrous. The justice system doesn't need repair, it needs a complete overhaul. I am skeptical about all forms of political power but will not engage in slander, rumor, gossip, innuendo, wild conspiracy theorizing, or false allegation.
