The word another jumps out. Before Bush 43 was Clinton and Bush 41. Is your intention to go all the way back to reagan??

They spent 8 years doing everything in their power to destroy Clinton...who had his personal problems, but otherwise presided over 2 terms of unprecedented economic prosperity, relative peace, and an America respected in the world.

PS...of course the last 8 years under bush have deepened the national divide, and have plunged the country into a catastrophic unnecessary war, given us a national debt that six years into his term was double what it was when he took office.
