I think there are several fronts that could cause Titan
to really take off. When one of their contracts mature,
then earnings wlll be in the black. Fortunatetly their
overhead is minimal (five employees and non plush offices).
Apparently they have enough cash to carry through to the end of
the year. They have developed their technology without any
significant debt. Also when the company obtains $4million
in assets, they should qualify for the NASDAQ. I think thats
when there will be no looking back.

The Korean plants were the first tire recycling plants brought
to production size. Licensing fees were waived in exchange for
develomental information to bring these plants up. Recently
they were modified for higher capacity and to obtain a better
quality of carbon black. These plants should be back up to
production soon. Carbon black is rated by surface area per
gram. Fully activated carbon black has an extremmely small
particle size. The smaller the particle size, the greater the
price. The previous grade was 50 ft.sq/gram. The redeveloped
plant is 1000 ft.sq/gm.
Once these plants are in full production royalties kick in of
which I'm not sure of. But keep in mind that the Koreans are
incurring these cost of which Titan has rights to.
Most important it demonstrates the feasibility of the technology.

Whether the company needs to offer more equity to raise cash
remains to be seen, mostly if an agreement matures before
the company needs money for operations.

It's a chicken or egg problem. Will investment bankers back
western plants without contracts for the products (ie carbon
black and oil) or will contracts develope without investment
bankers backing the plants. If a break occurs with this
catch 22, then the payday will be enormous.

Kit, do you have $7 million to loan me and I'll...

Hope this helps, or at least raises more curiosity.
