The downside of electing McCain. He will get legislation with with the Dems in charge of Congress unless the outcry builds enough by then. The upside is that we don't get Obama. And that's a BIG upside.

On this issue, I don't think it really matters who sits in the White House. There's a train wreck coming, when "global warming solutions" crash head on into economic reality. The only difference between Obama and McCain will be in a small degree of timing.

Most politicians have their eyes wide shut, safely cocooned in their own little world of unreality, along with their MSM brethren and the guilt ridden, wealthy econut liberals.

One thing for sure, when lights go out and pumps run dry (and fuel becomes unaffordable anyway) and food becomes scarce and more expensive, then ordinary people will have much to say to those who claim that polar bear populations and melting glaciers in the 22nd century are a higher priority.

Time will tell, but I think that big, big changes are coming, sooner rather than later, but not the kind of "change" that Obama continually yaks about. IMO, a rough road lies ahead...
