My guess is OSTK is on the threshold list because of the Option MM legally hedging his position with naked short selling.

Overstock was briefly off the list recently and has not been on the list for 800 consecutive days.

Since it was off then on the naked short shares most likely are not that large.

Havn't you been reading Byrnes posts?

He wants to get rid of the naked shortselling hedge option markers use to hedge their positions.

Hedge Funds as you know loon can not naked short a stock.

Only a market maker can do that.
