WHAT'S NEW? Redundant Server Farms with Redundant ISPs!

PC Quote is proud to announce our second server farm. Redundant live
server farms is not just an indication of PC Quote 6.0's increasing
popularity -- it's also an indication of our commitment to delivering
the fast, reliable real-time data you need for successful investing.
No other real-time quote vendor on the Internet has made this huge
investment in servers and bandwidth.
The second server farm is every bit as powerful as the original. It's
also connected to the Internet by its own service provider. That
means that if you're connected to a server at either farm and its
service provider experiences a problem, the other farm will be
unaffected and you'll be switched over to that farm automatically.
You don't have to do a thing!
Best of all, users who upgrade to the new release of PC Quote 6.0 get
the benefit of load balancing between the two server farms. Unlike
your current software, the new release can connect you to either farm
when you log on -- it doesn't have to try the original farm first.
You'll get stronger connections and better responsiveness, even during
the heaviest markets.
The second server farm is hosted at Genuity Data Center. Genuity, a
Tier One Internet service provider, is a Bechtel company specializing
in high bandwidth and corporate mission critical data delivery on a
dual-redundant International backbone. Genuity puts some of the most
advanced technology in the industry at your disposal.

+ MarketMinder
The new, enhanced MarketMinder adds speed and flexibility to this
extremely useful quote screen. Some of the new features include:
- New Display Options: Add selection and update highlights, gridlines
and borders.
- Quickly insert, delete and replace symbols right in the window -
Easily sort data by right clicking on column heading
- Calculate column totals at the bottom of the window - Loading symbol
chains
- New setup dialog box
- New, faster way to add your favorite fields
+ MarketMaker
The MarketMaker is now better than ever!
- Show direction (amount & direction of market makers last movement) -
Show # best bid/ask in the MarketMaker display - this shows the number
of times the market maker has moved to the inside market
- New Quick Quote layout, mmaker2.mqt, shows the count of market makers
representing the inside market and the bid/ask spread
- Display built-in Time & Sales Ticker
+ MultiQuote
New fundamental layout called fundam2.mqt represents a different
format than the original.
+ Ticker
Now more flexible than ever! New setup dialog box makes it easier than
ever to make your own customized tickers. Also, define specific
information to display including trades, best bid/ask, or MarketMakers.
For MarketMakers, choose to display only the inside market or exclude
size changes.

+ Toolbar Icon Names
Pass the mouse over a button on the toolbar and the name of the
feature appears!
+ Symbol List Files
(a.k.a .slf files) are updated and added. Now you have over 27 to
choose from plus the option to make your own! In addition, extended
file names makes them easier to recognize.
+ On-line Help
The Help menu is new and improved with added instructions and screen
shots. There is also a new Symbols Help Guide, located in the PC Quote
for Windows 95 program group, that defines the conventions of PC Quote's

+ Password Protection
If you DON'T use the autologin feature of PCW 6.0, you will notice
you now need type in your password each time you login. This is to
enhance the security of your software. If you have forgotten your
password, please contact us at 312-913-2830.
+ MSG_APP
The MSG_APP log program now shuts automatically when you close the
PCW 6.0 program.
+ Price Server Information
The price server you are receiving your quotes from now appears as
$PCQUOTE$. To find the IP Address, simply click on the $PCQUOTE$
box and it will be listed as the Current machine in group.
