Iraq had taken a giant step back re: womens rights for sure and that is regrettable and mostly blamable on saddam hussein. But its not taliban by a long shot Listen, the Shia in Southern Iraq are implementing the same type of stuff as the Islamic fundamentalist stuff as the Taliban. It's not prohibited in the Iraqi constitution. It's my contention that this will get worse as time goes on. You are welcome to disagree.
