I have night lighting on 24/7. I don't have a bat, but have heard of people with them in their vehicles and police are less likely to take issue with them if you have the rest of the sporting equipment. I have a friend who rescued a neighbor girl when a stray attacked her. He didn't have a bat, but I'm sure he would used one had it been available. I can see taking such precautions when camping and such. * * *
