I'm sure we all would, but the fact is that the UN is paralyzed as a body and simply cannot satisfy that role. If we had some other organization, or a totally restructured UN that was reasonable, I would have no problem with it. Obviously, the current UN is counterproductive, and should be either abolished or substantially redesigned. The point of such an organization cannot be to usurp a nation's sovereignty, which is what the UN has consistently done to the United States.
