Thats just it...I don't feel the threat justifies the danger of having a loaded gun under my bed. We have young nephews and nieces visit us and I can't ever take that chance of forgetting to secure it every time visitors come over. I live in Wisconsin...its probably one of the safest places on the planet for violent crime anyway (if you stay out of Milwaukee)...its just nice to know you have an option for a worst case scenario. A bat still isn't a bad idea though.
