You would think by the way people on TV and on this thread describe it, Obama is running away with this nominating process. Statistically, this thing is a virtual tie in spite of the fact that he has spent far more money and getting a pass from the popular press and tv. On top of all this, everyone has been given a free pass to demonise Clinton. Any time you try to give a reason to vote for Clinton, the commentators make all kinds of accusations accusing Clinton of racism (which is patently absurd),exaggeration, overly ambitious, and totally off the wall accusations.

The popular press has totally misrepresented her views and her voting record with respect to the war. It is almost criminal.

But, the big difference is David Axelrod has executed a better campaign on a strategic level. He took full advantage of the democratic party screw up of the nominating process. In a nutshell, that is the difference.
