Sawdusty - The fact that the wolf is alone is strange. They do travel in packs, after all. And his (or more likely her) behavior could be due to a few different things. One of them would be that she is sick, possibly with rabies. Animals with rabies, while sometimes more aggressive, can also sometimes show less than a normal amount of fear. Oftentimes they can appear to be quite tame. I'd keep a close eye on your dog for a while. The two of them are likely to tangle. And it might be worth contacting whatever local authority would deal with a rogue wolf that may have a transmissible disease. All that being sad, I'm feeling very bad for the poor wolf right now. If it were me, I'd probably take to feeding her, but well beyond the limit of the fence. That's assuming that she didn't show signs of rabies. - Allen
