Bob Barr could get a lot more than Nader in 2000 did.
As the Libertarian candidate (assuming he gets their nom) and former GOP bigwig in congress (led the impeachment of Clinton) he can attract both disenchanted Repubs and the 3-4% who are Libertarians. Most of these voters come from conservative end of things. Barr would pick up where Ron Paul left off. He could put a big dent in McCain's vote as McCain has completely stopped telling it like it is and has sold out to Rovian political BS tactics. In fact, McCain will now say just about anything to get elected, just another sell-out who doesn't give a damn about anyone but himself.
