Just a note, it's not just the election that is getting to you and every one. The election is a major part of this-----but the worst of this began with 9/11 that shook our confidence as a nation, in feeling safe. The reasons are multiple and the problems sometimes seem insurmountable. Given our choice of candidates, we don't have a really 'strong leader to look toward along with qualified leaders that surround that person' in the Democrat Party. Obama reminds me of a high school sophomore who has yet to mature but thinks he has all of the answers. Carville, Hillary's man, has now come out basically saying that Obama will be their nominee and advocating Hillary, Clark or Bloomberg for the VP. McCain has yet to name a VP-------when he does that----the Republican campaign will blossom. Add to the election the weather and abrupt changes in the weather bring us down------we have had almost 1 week of rain in the Virginia-Washington area----today the sun is out. Tornadoes, earthquakes, floods--------we even had a tremor in the East coast area that was recognizable. These are the rythmns of nature, and for me a force designed by an intelligence beyond us, for me God, that we are incapable of controlling. This brings me back to politics------and the 'global warming' ideas of such as Gore. What will he now say about global warming? Well it keeps him busy. jmho mj p.s. For me music helps-----and is a great healer. I rarely watch Ophra, but understand that she will be showcasing some young children with their talents on her show today-----about 4 p.m. in the East------usually gets repeated around 2 a.m. Perhaps a good break from the politics.
