It is hilarious (in a sad sort of way) that the same people who want to levy windfall profits taxes on oil companies are practically wetting their pants in excitement over the prospect of carbon credits and equally worthless expenditures and costs to the ultimate consumer in the name of *solving* global warming.

They'll happily give away *windfall profits* to the *feel good* industries to the ultimate detriment of their own constituents and the economy of this country.

Personally, I'd feel better about nuclear power than lining the pockets of profiteers like Al Gore and his merry band of carbon credit frauds.
