Sorry Mary but about sub $1000 PCs The quoted price today on an AMD K6-233 MMX is $350. Motherboards are $100-200, decent 4MB video $179. Memory is cheap. Disks are cheap. Add it up. Some people do know how to do this, they are called computer resellers. They sell a lot of sub $1000 PC's. Prices are coming down. Remeber the price on a Pentium 200 about a year ago. MEGABUCKS!
