Now Steve - you should know that CPQ will beat the forecast by $0.30 and go up $200!!! <GGGGG!> Regarding the AMD scenario they can do whatever they want and intel will still beat them easily on lower prices. Any right-minded PC expert will buy an intel for the equivalent price. That will be intel's stronghold for a very very long time. There is no comparable supplier of micro-Ps out there to match intel's volume, quality, research capabilities, and finally alliances with other key industry players. But of course anyone who is buying a non-intel solution (MMX or not) is a complete moron if we follow our friend Stockman's commentary. They (myself included) of course do not know what they are talking about. As a matter of fact I suggest we rename the sub $1k PC into enhanced calculator <GGG>! K.
