Every Scandanavian country is very socialist. Denmark 50% taxes. And Sweden, well we all know about Sweden (against the law to hit your kids-as it should be!). Yet surveys say Danes are the happiest people on earth and everyone gets free education to phd level and socialized comprehensive medicene. Show me anywhere on earth where the people live as well as scandanavians? In simple terms, healthy socialism is nothing more than "I am my brothers keeper"!! Every good democracy is a welfare state to some degree or another. Without socialism we would have no roads, sewers or water systems!!
