Sonki--- ORCL-- from this level it should move up quickly to recent 40s range. Uncle Merrill has a buy on it (not our buddy Tommy) and a 12 month of 60 that was updated Oct 10. If it can see 50ish in 6-7 months it is gone. OK on AMAT and SUNW. UTH--- Union Texas Holdings,, Or Union Texas Pete as some know it. Well, actually few know it I think. It is a petroleum co with world wide holdings. There is no reason to believe it will fly, but guts say it will do well and price is very reasonable. It should do OK no matter what the market does as the fundamentals are there. JBIL--- Sorry I did not see the drop until it hit -5 Monday. Would have been the greatest 1/2 hour short ever. I think they are way over priced. The fluctuations cannot be called volatile--- more like stupid. I love volatile--faster gamble,,, but not stupid especially in that price range. If it were a 20-30 issue ok ,, but 60 -70+ no way for me unless I sat in front of the computer watching all day. IBM looks good now. DEC-- I use their computers at work and would never buy one. For box makers I will stay with CPQ and DELl. Actually love my new DELL at home but like CPQ stock better at this time. Since the CPQ split 5/2 I still think we can see 90. Uncle Merrills lady says 100 in 12 months (today). It would be tough to hold that long though. The ramblings of old guys should not be taken seriously....... John
