You need both glasses & classes, especially in reading comprehension.

Further, I don't think the paper is actually a NASA or NOAA paper. None of the authors appear linked to either NASA or NOAA, and the paper was published in Nature. You simply found a link to it on a NOAA database of paleoclimate publications.
