Well, I have a EE degree and have been involved with technical sales of various types, including semi sales several years ago. I also have an MBA which allows me to put a gilded piece of paper above my desk. I read a lot of trade journals out of my personal interest and just to keep up professionaly. Since I was a kid I was a bit of a dreamer - you know dreaming about stuff like the concept of infinity and the universe, the nature of things and how everything fits together. Since I've grown up (do we ever realy?) I find that broad strategic issues are most interesting. Puzzling out how the currents in certain areas of the electronics, consumer and a few other areas are working out and how they fit into the fabric of things on the national and international scene - all the fuzzy logic stuff that is hanging out there is very interesting and most often rewarding.

I study the charts using the typical TA analysis tools like bollinger bands and stochastics, and try to use that as a "map", if you will, for the market psychology and events that are shaping the individual stock price. Of course I look at the financials.

I know "enough" about IDTI and the nature of business and the electronics and semi business in particular to know a bit about how events and the company's actions are likely to shape up. I don't profess to know incredible detail about every aspect of it. My interests shift from stock sector to stock sector a bit and from stock to stock as I think the prospects are brightening or dimming.

Overal, I try to have fun playing the game and I am most happy if I am making money at it.

This was a bit more than you probably wanted to know but I hope it answers your question.
