Daniel, no can do. Notice that each message gets assigned a number that is unique to that thread only. About the only thing you can do is inform someone that you left a message for them somewhere else and post a link.

BTW, SI now has "Clubhouses" for people that want to chat. For example, the "Stock Swap" thread has "Rachel's Clubhouse": Subject 12663. Ask SI to create a clubhouse for your favorite thread or just create your own chat thread for you and your friends if you think it will be frequently used.
