If it helps to understand any of my combativeness or opinions... I am one of those Scot-Irish, steeped in the hills of where the Appalachian mountains die out in the nothern land of Alabama. I am enjoying these articles. Never figured my 'kinfolk' would be named in American lore again. - But I think Obama can connect here. He has the background. But some Clinton grease would help. They're the only ones have cared for decades. JFK didn't. RFK did. He was a whole other breed. Before that... gotta go way back.
