Yes, it would be classy.

As noted in the article regarding West Virginia Governor Manchin----

"Going by voter registration alone, West Virginia is a heavily Democratic State. Democrats outnumber Republicans by two-to-one and control the governor's mansion, the state legislature and both U.S. Senate seats. But George W. Bush carried the Mountain State twice in presidential years and Democrats certainly noticed that had Al Gore won there in 2000, he would have won the presidency regardless of the outcome of Florida. Maybe that explains Mr. Manchin's caginess. Helping to carry West Virginia might earn him a close look as veep by either nominee -- after all, the last Democrat to win the White House without carrying West Virginia was Woodrow Wilson in 1916."

The trash talk directed at West Virginians is as bad as the remarks of the Rev. Wright damming America. These older West Virginians have been insulted-----they are not naive or ignorant or racist.

By some standards they are 'poor economically'----by other standards you will find that they are wealthy as many own their own home/property without mortgages.

If Obama is the POTUS nominee for the Democrat Party then he will have to personally deal with this trashing of West Virginians during the Democrat Primary otherwise it will be as damaging as the Wright type of comments to his candidacy.
