I don't give a shit what congress does, and I totally don't care what happens to oil traders either. If the FED is serious about excess lending, they should increase margin requirments for CFTC every time they cut interest rates. It would not bother me to see futures traders using their real money to trade these contracts every day. I have to do the same friggin thing with my equity positions.

I think all the inflationists out there using commodities, futures, and other derivatives are being given insane leverage requirements are a bunch of hypocrites. Let's see how tough these guys would be using the same equity requirements as stock margin requirements.
