POTUS, who has far deeper knowledge on these matters than either of us, agrees with me:

The POTUS said this was not about Obama. And in any event this is about negotiating with terrorists, not talking to them. You can talk to them without actually negotiating. Just hyperbole. I don't have any problem with you attacking Obama, but I would rather that it be based on truth.
