The latter link you posted regarding Kucinich's visit to Syria is a blog entry obviously intended humor piece, attributed to a pseudonym. I seriously doubt that Kucinich ever said anything about "peace through strength, peace through defeating the US."

One clue is that if you look very closely, you can see that the photograph of Kucinich standing on Assad's desk has been doctored. The real Kucinich is not that tall. ;-)

I can't believe you used that as a serious source.
