Oh he did not challenge the Dems or the Republicans enough - especially on things other than Iraq. He did not challenge the drilling restricitions. He only now is challenging spending bills. He certainly did not control the agenda on taxation. He gave up on SS restructuring. He has wimped out.

I do not believe I said that not challenging Democrats enough was part of the reason we are in trouble - but in considering it - I think that is true. It is especially true in that he is turning over the country to the Democrats with potentially a landslide defeat.

And yes - we are likely never to see things in the same way.
