Carbohydrates - rice, wheat, bread, pasta, etc. - have risen a lot more than proteins, e.g., fish, meat, etc. Milk and cheese, however, through the roof.

Healthier to get away from so many carbs, eat more veggies, fish and lean meat. Blessing in disguise?

But most other items, except for gasoline, do not seem to have risen precipitously. Some have fallen.

If the trend - manageable inflation coupled with devalued dollar and thus higher exports - continues, US markets will give big upside surprise.

We all know fundamentals suck and we have all been expecting a much lower market because fundamentals indeed suck but have we been looking at the right things? Have we ignored facts?

How else to explain market's resiliency?

Market knows everything, do we?
