Oil consumption and price will only increase, barring a worldwide recession. Eventually, the price will limit consumption at some point. If we suck the world dry, modern civilization will collapse. America is the most vulnerable. We'll have starvation as our cities are no longer supplied with food by big rigs. Long before that the price of food will skyrocket with the price of oil. Bad times ahead. I hope to build enough of a cushion investing in oil to get through it.
