The future can certainly change. However, I do not see changes
at present that will ensure a different outcome. When we
see such changes, most certainly, the dollar decline will
stop and inflation will reverse. However, given the policies
at the present time, stopping inflationary spiral will require
more drastic measures on part of the authorities in the future.
Their inflationary actions this year will be very apparent 18
months from now, despite official inflation statistics
that is a total joke at this point. Energy prices DECLINED
according to them in the recent month due to "seasonal
factors". I see a 25% jump at the gas pump, I guess it's
Spring in the air. That must have reduced it. This bodes
well for much more inflation, unfortunately. The futures
markets are predicting rates will stay at 2% for some time.
