Gateway 2000 and VTEL Announce Product Agreement

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Gateway 2000(R), Inc., (NYSE:GTW), N. Sioux City, South Dakota, a leading direct marketer of personal computers, and VTEL(R) Corporation, (Nasdaq:VTEL), Austin, Texas, the global leader in the manufacturing of PC-based videoconferencing systems, today announced the signing of an agreement to market a new conferencing product based on Gateway 2000's award winning Destination(TM) PC/TV. The new product will be demonstrated at the Telecon XVII Conference and Trade Show November 5-7 in Anaheim, California.
