Each sour refinery which gets built in China, India and Iran is another burden off the light sweet crude market.

But these refineries cost more to run, so they'll be in a pickle when oil prices decline. Just hope its someone else that gets stuck with a sour refinery.

Chevron went this route with Pascagoula and it's been a mixed result financially, especially now that Venezuela which supplied much of the feedstock is in chaos.
