IMO, South American Malbec is the sweet spot in QPR for reds these days. There are several excellent choices, here are a few I've had in the past few months: Simonassi Malbec 2005: $8.49 Luigi Bosca Malbec Reserva 2004: $16.99 Tomero Malbec 2005: $12.99 And unrelated, but it has to be said: RIP Robert Mondavi. A visionary winemaker, an honest winemaker. You made the world of wine a better place.
