I think you're making too much of it. For example, hospitals already know their staff ratios and report them somewhere because I've seen the numbers. Yes, Washington can always make things harder than they need to be and maybe they will this time. I guess my perspective is that, relative to some of the proposals I've seen, it's peanuts. Something is definitely going to happen with health care and, since it is inevitable, I'd sure rather it be this. Defying any and all change just takes you out of the play and lets the outcome be decided by zealots, who can do a lot more damage than this.
