I didn't see the program, but I wish I did. What you describe is fascinating. It shows how hard wired people are in their political "judgments". They agreed that Bush was right and appeasement doesn't work. But they like Obama, and the "wonderfulness" of his response easily overshadowed the fact that with regard to this issue Bush makes sense, and Obama doesn't.

The fact that they "like" Obama for practical purposes reversed the fact that Bush is correct - and Obama wrong.

Too many people have been corrupted by emotionalism and never learned to think.
