You actually think the economy was TALKED down??? So...if every News Cast had opened with "Gee, the economy looks great today" we wouldn't have seen all those ARM's readjust and everything would be "hunky dory"? The Islam guys DID start the Afghanistan War. It was the Moron Bush and "Halliburtin Cheney" that got us into the MESS in Iraq. Geo-politically we were MUCH better off with Saddam still in power to neutralize the Iranians.
