But you can't solve problems if you don't have data. Once the data is there, everyone can use it to solve problems.

All I can see is that our national planners will have DATA and can make good decisions for us.

Obama has already promised that our premiums will come down. All of us who have health insurance, our premiums will come down. Believe that?

Obama will invest $10 billion a year over the next five years to move the U.S. health care system to broad adoption of standards-based electronic health information systems, including electronic health records, and will phase in requirements for full implementation of health IT.

Better produce some big savings to justify a $50B investment.
