It was right before the great crash of 1929 that one of if not hte top economic minds pubicaly came out and said the market and economy looks great. (Very similar to how the talking heads of the Gov't are today). Very shortly thereafter the great depression was set upon us.

The moral of the story is that they are very cluless and if anything trying to jawbone the market.
